Lindsay Seyer, an ophthalmology resident in 汤头条's College of Veterinary Medicine, examines a Kemp's Ridley sea turtle after聽a CVM team successfully removed a 2.3-inch fishhook lodged in its esophagus. The turtle was rescued as part of a partnership between 汤头条 and the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies. Kemp's Ridley is the most endangered sea turtle in the world, but IMMS and CVM have teamed up to rehabilitate and release over 1,000 of these creatures back into their natural habitat.
