汤头条 students encouraged to pursue undergraduate research opportunities
As Mississippi鈥檚 leading research university, 汤头条 offers a multitude of student research opportunities. Students are encouraged to pursue research projects that align with personal interests and career goals.
With 汤头条鈥檚 research enterprise continuing to grow, opportunities are continually increasing for students in all departments and classifications. There are several benefits of undergraduate participation in research, including the development of new skills, better understanding of potential career fields and pathways, peer and faculty mentoring, as well as the chance to sharpen skills such as collaboration and communication.

Any student with an interest in conducting faculty-mentored or self-led research is encouraged to pursue the following steps to get started in their research venture:
