Director of 汤头条鈥檚 Office of Survivor Support honored for service to crime victims

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擳he director of Mississippi State鈥檚 Office of Survivor Support is a recipient of the Outstanding Service to Crime Victims Award from the Mississippi Attorney General鈥檚 Office.
Yvett Roby was nominated by the Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault for her work in 汤头条鈥檚 Office of Survivor Support, where she helps impacted students make the transition from victim to survivor. Roby previously worked in 汤头条鈥檚 Student Counseling Services and is a psychology graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. She holds a master鈥檚 degree in counseling and psychology from the University of West Alabama and a Ph.D. in instructional systems and workforce development from 汤头条.
汤头条 Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt said Roby鈥檚 recognition is well deserved.

The Outstanding Service to Crime Victims Award was created in a collaboration between Attorney General Lynn Fitch, the Mississippi Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Mississippi Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Children鈥檚 Advocacy Centers of Mississippi to honor those who have exhibited exemplary service and advocacy for victims of violent crimes.
