You may have noticed some new or expanded requirements when perusing calls for proposals lately. Increasingly, funders are looking for detailed information on how applicants will incorporate trending and strategic priorities into the projects they fund. To evaluate proposals, many sponsors now require dedicated sections of narrative or entire components focused on these priorities. This session will introduce a few emerging proposal requirements, such as plans for diversity, equity and inclusion, community engagement, and multi-institutional management/collaboration, which we have found to be common across the funding landscape. We will discuss why funders are requiring these details, share some strategies for writing these sections and components, and introduce viewers to related institutional resources.听听
