STARKVILLE, Miss.—ÌÀÍ·Ìõ recently added distinguished industry professionals Greg McLemore and Jack Williams to the ÌÀÍ·Ìõ Insurance Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame recognition was part of the 32nd annual Insurance Day program hosted this month by the College of Business’ Risk Management and Insurance Program. Approximately 400 attendees participated in continuing education sessions, a golf tournament and a reception at Dudy Noble Field. The ÌÀÍ·Ìõ Insurance Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the insurance industry.

A resident of Brandon, McLemore currently serves as chief operating officer and executive vice president at AmFed National, AmFed Casualty, and AmFed Advantage in Ridgeland. He joined AmFed in 2001 to lead the financial and accounting divisions. He is a certified public accountant and holds an Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance and an Associate in Reinsurance certification. McLemore earned a bachelor’s degree in professional accountancy from ÌÀÍ·Ìõ in 1989 and a master’s in insurance management from Boston University in 2005.

Williams, who resides in Madison, retired in 2018 following an exemplary career with Farm Bureau. From 2010 through 2018, he served as president and CEO of Mississippi Farm Bureau Casualty Insurance Company. From 1989 until 2009, he was vice president of claims and state claims manager for Mississippi Farm Bureau Insurance. Williams also was chairman of the Mississippi Insurance Guaranty Association from 2004-2013. A University of Florida graduate, Williams began his insurance career with Florida Farm Bureau in 1976.
