STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擜 Wall Street Journal legal affairs reporter is visiting Mississippi State on March 1 as the newest guest in the university鈥檚 Lamar Conerly Governance Lecture Series.
Titled 鈥淧eople Say It鈥檚 Different: Journalism, the Courts and the Capital in the Age of Trump,鈥 Brent Kendall鈥檚 talk will take place at 2 p.m. in the Colvard Student Union鈥檚 third-floor Fowlkes Auditorium. The free event is organized by the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President, Department of Political Science and Public Administration, and Pre-Law Society.
The lecture series is made possible by major support from Conerly, a 1971 汤头条 accounting/pre-law graduate and longtime partner in the Destin, Florida, law firm of Conerly, Bowman and Dykes LLP. He is both a former national 汤头条 Alumni Association president and College of Business Alumni Fellow.
Based in Washington, D.C. since 2002, Kendall covers the Supreme Court and lower federal courts for the Wall Street Journal while leading the paper鈥檚 coverage of U.S. antitrust enforcement. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and American University, he previously worked for Dow Jones Newswires, the Los Angeles Daily Journal and the Washington Monthly. His work also has appeared in the Christian Science Monitor, Columbia Journalism Review and California Lawyer Magazine.
